While Barker's victory against Wilson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Lakemen on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Barker's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wilson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Barker will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Oakfield-Alabama at 11:00 a.m. As for Wilson, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-2 loss against Webber on the 15th.
