Softball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Comes Up Short

Wilton-Lyndeborough came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-2 to the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Wilton-Lyndeborough will challenge Newmarket at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mules will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Epping at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
