Bangor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Fennville Blackhawks an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Vikings have won 19 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Isabelle Horvath was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 25 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Alexis Wisniewski was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Emily Wisniewski, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Bangor's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Fennville, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-15.
