Soccer Recap: Putnam Valley Falls to Peekskill

Putnam Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peekskill Red Devils on Thursday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Putnam Valley couldn't quite close it out.

The victory was the third in a row for Peekskill, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Putnam Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peekskill, they will head out to challenge Greeley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
