Volleyball Game Preview: Turlock Bulldogs vs. Pitman Pride + Official Tickets

Turlock is 0-10 against Pitman since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Pride at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Turlock made easy work of Enochs and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Pitman got the win against Gregori on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Pitman's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-11.

Pitman's win came from a few key players Turlock will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aila Reich, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nicoletta Dowd, who had 12 assists and five digs.

Pitman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive contests.

Turlock's record is now 22-9. As for Pitman, their record now sits at 25-9.
