Softball Recap: Novato Hornets vs. Montgomery Vikings

Novato not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26, 2024. Everything went their way against the Montgomery Vikings as Novato made off with a 9-3 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Claire Hannan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
