Baseball Recap: Gar-Field Red Wolves vs. Woodbridge Vikings
Gar-Field had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-11 to make it seven. They came up short against the Woodbridge Vikings, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.
As for Woodbridge, their record is now 10-7. With that win, they brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
For Woodbridge's part, Caelan Goodwin-Slater made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Goodwin-Slater also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Woodbridge is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise.
