Basketball Recap: Silver Finds Home Court Redemption Against Chaparral

There's no place like home for Silver, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past the Chaparral Lobos with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 39-23. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 55-40 win last Friday.

Silver pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Chaparral, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Silver will head out on the road to face off against Deming at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
