Softball Recap: Farmington Gets the Win

Farmington posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Copper Hills Grizzlies 11-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Phoenix.

Farmington got a big performance out of Sophia Strong, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Andrus, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Farmington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 6-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Farmington's record is now 13-10. As for Copper Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Farmington nor Copper Hills have any future games scheduled.
