Baseball Recap: Center Point Comes Up Short

Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Hayden Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Thursday.

Center Point now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Hayden, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season.

Center Point has already played their next matchup (against Bessemer City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hayden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Oneonta on the 14th.
