Soccer Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was the 1-0 winner over Spring Lake when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawkeyes fell 2-0 to the Lakers on Wednesday. Hamilton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Spring Lake, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-2 and their overall record up to 7-6-2.

Hamilton and Spring Lake should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Hawkeyes (ranked 117th) will meet Allegan (ranked 263rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spring Lake will square off against Mona Shores at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (89 vs. 218).
