Baseball Recap: Northern Guilford Takes a Loss

Northern Guilford and Marvin Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Northern Guilford had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Marvin Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Northern Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marvin Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-3 victory against Hough on the 9th.
