Softball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Wins Going Away Against Clearfield

Bellwood-Antis not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 14-5). Everything went their way against the Clearfield Bison as they made off with an 11-5 win. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 victory the Bison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Bellwood-Antis pushed their record up to 6-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Clearfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Bellwood-Antis will welcome Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clearfield, they will take on Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bison are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
