Soccer Recap: Cocoa Beach Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cocoa Beach can now relate to. They fell just short of The Villages Charter by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Cocoa Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-1. As for The Villages Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Cocoa Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Villages Charter, they will square off against Lake Highland Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Highland Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
