Basketball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 86-41 loss at the hands of the Centennial Huskies. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-21.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Centennial, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-15.

Corona will host Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 25 games -- so hopefully Corona likes a good challenge. As for Centennial, they and King will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. King will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight.
