Recap: Bauxite Miners vs. Harmony Grove Cardinals
The Bauxite Miners entered their tilt with the Harmony Grove Cardinals with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Bauxite strolled past Harmony Grove with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 28-14. That's another feather in the cap for Bauxite, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Marcus Wimberly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Although Harmony Grove took the loss, they still got scores from Jacobe Noble and Justen Washington.
Bauxite is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Harmony Grove, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.
Bauxite will take on McGehee at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. McGehee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last five games. Harmony Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
