Santa Cruz Valley came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Tempe Prep Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dust Devils also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jonathan Ramos was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Xzavier Montijo, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
