Basketball Recap: Paradise Valley Takes a Loss

Paradise Valley has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Canyon View Jaguars at home by a 77-62 margin on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Paradise Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Canyon View, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Paradise Valley and Canyon View should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Paradise Valley will take on Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Monday up 195 places (95 vs. 290). Meanwhile, Canyon View (ranked ninth) will meet North Canyon (ranked 219th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
