Soccer Game Preview: Churchill vs. LEE

Churchill hasn't had much luck against LEE recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Churchill Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the LEE Volunteers at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Churchill fell victim to Reagan and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Rattlers. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Rattlers are ranked 173rd).

Meanwhile, neither LEE nor Madison could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. LEE's draw makes their record 9-2-2 this season.

Churchill came up short against LEE when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 4-2. Can Churchill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
