            Burns won the last time they faced Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Burns Bulldogs walked away with  a   71-59  win over the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons. The Bulldogs pushed the score to  61-41 by the end of the third, a deficit the Gryphons cut but never quite recovered from.

 Burns will venture away from home to  face off against Bessemer City  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, they will face off against East Gaston at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. East Gaston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
