Volleyball Game Preview: Environmental Eagles vs. Richman Panthers

The Environmental Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Richman Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Environmental is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Environmental is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Laguardia, who was ranked second at the time (Environmental was ranked 14th). The Eagles won by a set and slipped past Laguardia 2-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Richman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over School of the Future on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 11, 2024.

Environmental's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Richman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Environmental was able to grind out a solid victory over Richman in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
