Basketball Recap: Dimmitt Takes a Loss

Dimmitt lost against Farwell last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dimmitt Bobcats were outmatched by the Farwell Steers and fell 81-37. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 820th, while the Steers are ranked 256th).

Dimmitt dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Farwell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dimmitt will face off against Springlake-Earth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Farwell, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Muleshoe at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
