Softball Recap: Mooreville Gets the Win

Mooreville lost to Choctaw County back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Troopers came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Troopers.

Mckenna Hutcherson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Maddie Simpson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Mooreville's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Choctaw County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Mooreville will square off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Choctaw County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
