Soccer Game Preview: St. Andrew's vs. Frederica Academy

St. Andrew is 1-9 against Frederica Academy since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lions will face off against Frederica Academy. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

St. Andrew's is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over John Milledge Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for St. Andrew's.

Meanwhile, Frederica Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Frederica Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Frederica Academy pushed their record up to 15-4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for St. Andrew's, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-2.
