Mason Stewart posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Stow-Munroe Falls's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-2 (and 6-12 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Stewart and Stow-Munroe Falls will host Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
