Volleyball Recap: Sanford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sanford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Biddeford Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Beks Hatch went supernova For Biddeford., getting 20 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Hatch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaynelle Barrett, who had three digs and two aces.

Sanford's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Biddeford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Sanford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Biddeford, they will face off against Kennebunk at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
