Volleyball Recap: Park Vista Cobras vs. Palm Beach Central Broncos

After flying high against Lake Worth last Wednesday, Park Vista came back down to earth. The Cobras fell just short of the Palm Beach Central Broncos by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cobras of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Park Vista took Palm Beach Central into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 17-25, 15-11.

Natalie Suarez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and two assists. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high. Savannah Andrade-Guthrie also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Park Vista's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Palm Beach Central, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
