Glencliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-7 to the Maplewood Panthers. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Colts' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Maplewood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Glencliff will face off against Antioch at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maplewood, they will welcome Whites Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cobras have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.14 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
