Escanaba has gone a perfect 4-0 against Menominee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eskymos are taking a road trip to face off against the Maroons at 5:00 p.m. Escanaba's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Menominee's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Escanaba headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Marquette let them put that streak behind them. The Eskymos put the hurt on the Sentinels with a sharp 20-10 victory on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Menominee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 7-4 to Gladstone.

Menominee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Escanaba, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Everything went Escanaba's way against Menominee in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Escanaba made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eskymos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
