Soccer Recap: Pompano Beach Finds Playoff Glory Versus Dreyfoos School of the Arts

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pompano Beach had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Chloe Measel had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Golden Tornadoes.

Pompano Beach is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matchups. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Pompano Beach will face off against St. Brendan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dreyfoos School of the Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
