Basketball Game Preview: Crisfield Crabbers vs. Milford Buccaneers

The Crisfield Crabbers and the Milford Buccaneers will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Crisfield is looking for their season's first victory.

Crisfield came up into this matchup off a tough 22-point defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Arcadia by a score of 56-53 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Crabbers have suffered since February 15th.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milford). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pocomoke on Thursday, sneaking past 75-72. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Delaware, while the Warriors are ranked 151st in Maryland), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Crisfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
