Shaker hadn't done well against Saratoga Springs recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bison came out on top against the Blue Streaks by a score of 4-1. For the Bison, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 win the Blue Streaks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Joe Lewinter looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brayden Akley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.
