Volleyball Game Preview: Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins vs. Norfolk Academy Bulldogs

Cape Henry Collegiate is 0-10 against Norfolk Academy since September of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Dolphins will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cape Henry Collegiate will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Dolphins came out on top against the Saints by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Cape Henry Collegiate was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 26-24, 16-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Academy entered their tilt with Collegiate on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cougars.

Norfolk Academy took Collegiate into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-20, 21-25, 15-8.

Cape Henry Collegiate's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Norfolk Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.
