Avery Adler Game Report: vs Alexandria City

Fairfax was sadly handed a loss on Wednesday, but Avery Adler did her best to prevent it. Adler made a splash, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Alexandria City back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Adler and Fairfax will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
