Softball Recap: Richland Bombers vs. Kennewick Lions
Richland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Kennewick Lions a 14-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bombers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Jordan Brannon was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sophia Sams, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Richland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennewick only posted an OBP of .200.
