Baseball Game Preview: Quakertown Panthers vs. Abington Galloping Ghosts

The Quakertown Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Abington Galloping Ghosts at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Quakertown came up short against Pennridge and fell 8-3.

Quakertown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Reich, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That hit marked the first that Reich got this season. Brady Martin was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Abington and Wissahickon finished up their match with a 0-0 tie last Tuesday.

Quakertown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. With that draw, Abington's record moves to 1-3-1.

Quakertown came out on top in a nail-biter against Abington in their previous matchup two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Galloping Ghosts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
