Volleyball Recap: Gregory-Portland Comes Up Short

Gregory-Portland saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stevens Falcons.

Gregory-Portland was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19.

Gregory-Portland dropped their record down to 11-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stevens, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Gregory-Portland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wimberley on the 28th. As for Stevens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Southside on the 28th.
