Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Center). They never let the Stevenson Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 30-0 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 7.9 runs per game.

Caden Taylor was a standout: he scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all six of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Fuller, who went 2-for-6 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.

La Center kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.

The win (which was La Center's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stevenson, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

La Center will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
