Annapolis had won eight straight games and Mckenzie Fuller did her part to make it nine on Monday. The Annapolis Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Severn School Admirals 44-42 thanks in part to Fuller, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Audrey Skinner was another key player, putting up two points along with six boards, five assists, and three steals. Skinner is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Severn School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katherine Mentesana, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Austin, who posted eight points.

Annapolis' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Severn School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Annapolis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 44-22 win against Northeast on the 4th. As for Severn School, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Paul's Girls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
