Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was the 7-2 winner over Humble when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday.

King has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16-1 record this season. As for Humble, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King is set to take on their familiar foe Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Humble will challenge rival Summer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
