Volleyball Game Preview: Holston Cavaliers vs. Chilhowie Warriors + How To Watch

Holston is 1-9 against Chilhowie since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Holston took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Northwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cavaliers have posted since August 25th.

Meanwhile, Chilhowie had just enough and edged out Rural Retreat 3-2 on Tuesday.

Chilhowie is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Holston, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Holston suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chilhowie in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Cavaliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
