Baseball Game Preview: Terrell Tigers vs. Kaufman Lions

Terrell is 1-8 against Kaufman since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Terrell has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Terrell is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game on Friday. They lost 17-0 to Midlothian Heritage.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Kaufman's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against Van, falling 9-1.

Kaufman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Crutcher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. Angel Montes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Kaufman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14-1. As for Terrell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Terrell might still be hurting after the 13-0 defeat they got from Kaufman in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
