Basketball Game Preview: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. New London Wildcats

The Western Reserve Roughriders will face off against the New London Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Reserve has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while New London will come in with ten straight victories.

Last Tuesday, Western Reserve was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-36 to Crestview.

Meanwhile, New London strolled past Mapleton with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 48-34. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 14 points.

Western Reserve's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for New London, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Western Reserve was dealt a bruising 47-18 loss at the hands of New London in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Western Reserve was down 35-5.
