Northwest has gone 5-0 against Southeast Polk recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Northwest Wolves will get right back to it and host the Southeast Polk Rams at 7:45 p.m. Southeast Polk took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Northwest, who comes in off a win.

Northwest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Bellevue West, posting a 95-64 victory. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Southeast Polk came up short against Waukee on Friday and fell 59-51. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Warriors are ranked ninth).

Northwest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for Southeast Polk, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Northwest against Southeast Polk when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 68-32 win. Does Northwest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Polk turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
