Lincolnview came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lincolnview's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Lima Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincolnview will venture away from home to square off against Ada at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lima Central Catholic, they will head out to face off against Lima Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.89 runs per game on average), something the Thunderbirds will no doubt try to take advantage of.
