Cass Tech had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Edison Academy Pioneers by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Technicians also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Miryam Hurtado-Medina, who had four aces and one assist.

Cass Tech's win bumped their record up to 13-16-1. As for Edison Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1.

Cass Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Osborn on the 16th. Edison Academy has also already played their next contest (against University Prep Art & Design), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
