Volleyball Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

Reavis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainfield South Cougars.

Lily Fish paced Reavis' offense, picking up four kills. Fish got some help from Ivette Mendoza and her nine assists. Fish was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Plainfield South, the win snapped their losing streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 6-17 record.

Reavis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Crete-Monee on the 18th. As for Plainfield South, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Romeoville on the 21st.
