North Hollywood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the South East Jaguars by a score of 5-0 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Ellison Hinnen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Those 17 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaiya Mendoza, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Ashley Anguiano-Trujillo, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
