Baseball Game Preview: Western Albemarle Warriors vs. Harrisonburg Blue Streaks

Western Albemarle has gone a perfect 6-0 against Harrisonburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Western Albemarle Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Harrisonburg is headed out to face a Warriors squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Western Albemarle took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spotswood on Tuesday.

Western Albemarle got a good showing from Ryan Schenk, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Tyler Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

Meanwhile, Harrisonburg had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 15-5 to Stonewall Jackson on Monday.
