Volleyball Recap: Ooltewah Takes a Loss

Ooltewah managed to slip by Rhea County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls lost 3-0 to the Golden Eagles on Thursday. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Ooltewah was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Rhea County's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Ooltewah now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rhea County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ooltewah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cookeville on the 23rd. As for Rhea County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Stone Memorial on the 22nd.
